The art gallery is a pictorial display of form and function as life. All energy manifests as form depending on the density and vibratory quality of that energy. As an artist it is my desire to transmit what I perceive in reality as art. Do I intellectually dissect this process? Not really. I see something that moves me, a face, light as it falls on a tree, the curves of a physical form highlighted in cast shadow…and feel the need to express this and make it immortal. Make it a part of my consciousness; bring the depths of my soul to the surface so that I can better know the unconscious. The images may seem prosaic and that is the point. That is life. That is who we are on a day to day basis. That is what makes up our character, our ethics, our morals, our way of being. Catch that and I feel I have caught a glimpse into the soul of humanity.
